My Final blog post

What I will remember most remember about 4th grade is:  going to the state house. Going to the great bay. Reading about the civil war. Having desks for the first time. I also liked how Mrs. Gerard read out loud so well. I liked how we played a lot of fun school-related games like scoot and my favorite (drumroll) Super FRIO!!! It is really fun. It is a fraction game it is difficult but it is extremely fun

What I am the most proud of is: My wax museum poster it took a long time. The report, the poem, the portrait and the timeline. What I am also proud of is: making our New Hampshire maps. It was hard but at the end it was worth it. It was fun because we added some of the towns some of the mountains some of the railroads some of the roads/routes.
What I am most looking forward to middle school is: Having a lot more teachers and having a lot more kids. It will be really fun. But it will be really hard to navigate through the Huge school. But I will get accustomed to it. I am also looking forward to lockers, the cafeteria, the clubs, tech Ed, gym, life skills and much, much more.
Thank you for following, reading and watching my blog, I had a great year in fourth grade and I had a lot of fun at mast way. Everyone and everything was awesome (including lunch) I am looking forward to a new summer and a new school. A special thanks to all the subs teachers and librarians, gym teachers, computer teachers art teachers and music teachers. Thank you mast way!!!!!

Hello everyone, I am studying John Stark he created the New Hampshire motto: Live Free or Die. My class is studying Famous New Hampshorite people. We have made a report, poem, timeline all sorts of stuff about our person. The hardest part was probably the report because we had to go through many stages. It has been fun studying about John Stark.

New Hampshrite Report

John Starks Life By: Ben Kelley John Stark had a rough childhood John Archibald Stark was born August 28, 17278 in London dairy, New Hampshire. At age eight he moves from his farm to Derryfield (now Manchester). His dad dies shortly after he moves July, twenty-fifth. As you can see his early life was not easy. John had a steady but sad life with his family. Stark marries Elizabeth Page August 20th. After going to war he son Archibald may, 20th. He has another son John April, 17 dies shortly after. He has a daughter Sarah June 11. Another daughter Eleanor May, 4. Another daughter Eleanor Jr. June 30 dies days later. Eleanor dies in August. ANOTHER daughter Mary August 19. His wife Elizabeth dies June 29 1814 John Stark dies May 8, 1822. From a hard early life to an OK later life……. It’s time for war. Are you wondering, I know Stark went to war but what did he do? Stark fought in two wars, French and Indian and the revolutionary war Stark fought in New York most of the time. John’s soldiers overturned foes in the battle of Bennington on October 4, 1777. Stark played a key role in a battle near fort Carillon on snowshoes. John went to war half is lifetime, that’s a lot of orders and yelling as a general! Didn't John Stark create the New Hampshire state motto? Yes, he actually did. After the revolutionary war, John was invited to a meal. He had to give a letter that letter ended up the state motto. What he said was: Live Free or Die, Death is not the worst of evils. With 1,500 men by the order of Benjamin Lincoln to go to Charlestown, New Hampshire but did Stark follow orders? Oh no he led his men to the rear of major general John Burgoyne’s invading British army. John isn’t just the state motto he is much, much more. At an early adulthood, John had a lot of awards in 1757 at age 28 he was appointed captain. Three years later in 1760 he returned home for a while. After returning to the army, He was in command of the northern New York frontier. Also, he was in command of Bunker Hill, while a second lieutenant in Rogers’s rangers. John Archibald Stark had an incredible life from moving to dad-less to being captured by Indians to having eleven children to saving the revolutionary war to death at age 93. He was the kind of guy who would go against orders to save many lives. He was brave, ambitious, a good leader and powerful. He would never leave anyone to die.

My persuasive essay: Why you shouldn't kill snakes

When you see a garter (not garden) snake don’t kill it. They are important for the environment. Some snakes feed on mice who carry ticks reducing the amount of lime disease. Snakes are reptiles as you may know. They have cold blood so don’t trap them in a barn or other dark area. One rat eating snake can decimate a whole rat family in one week. Snakes are roaming around because they are trying to find a den or to hunt not for you though! They are not planning to take over. Snakes do it without damaging the earth they don’t dig holes they are from their own prey they don’t chew or damage the landscape (I wish I could say that about our neighborhood squirrel) as you can see, snakes are good for the earth
Not convinced? That snakes aren't only helpful but harmless? Snakes kill slugs and other garden pests. Infant snakes look like worms so turtles, birds and frogs eat them. If you kill them and talk about it, then other people will kill them that doesn't mean to kill them and not talk about it. New Hampshire snakes don’t have venom. They will not bite unless stepped on, threatened, poked or cornered. Still don’t go to the amazon thinking that walking around an anaconda that it won’t bite. They will not bite if you pick them up carefully ever tried picking up a raccoon about to loot your trash can? Not only do they help the environment they help the gardens, you and the house.
Are you wondering, how can I help? Well if you are I advise you to listen up! Snakes live in logs, rocks, bushes and other holes/dens don’t destroy possible homes for snakes instead you can make homes for snakes for example, you could dig a whole (a small hole) and put a log on it. If a snake gets into a garage, car or other temporarily used household or outside item. Encourage friends, family members to not fear snakes. All you have to do is a couple thing and it will make an enormous difference.
You’re probably thinking, you are giving us so much to do are you doing anything? As a matter of fact I am. I do not harm or kill snakes, I never block/demolish possible homes for snakes, I have educated myself to not fear snakes,  I try to encourage my family to not fear snakes by telling them about my report, I try to make possible homes for snakes by pushing back brambles in a bush for a burrow. It’s not only you together we can do this.

Some people may think, somebody else will do it or I’ll be dead then. What about the world that you live in it will be destroyed not just snakes also Styrofoam, pollution, cardboard, plastic bottles and many more. I don’t want our grandchildren’s grandchildren to not know what a snake is. It doesn't take 500 people to change the world it could only take one why not you? It depends on what you do with an idea.
